Prologue: A Baby?!
Sirius Black and Remus Lupin had been a couple since their sixth years, having gathered the courage to ask the other out. Currently, they were sharing a cottage and both had jobs. Sirius was an Auror and Remus was a bookeeper at a local Muggle bookstore, as he couldn't get a job in the wizarding world.
Just last night, the couple shared a beautiful night of lovemaking and now were visiting the Potters.
The Potters were James and Lily, who had married three months ago. Lily was expecting a child at the moment and Sirius and Remus wanted to see how she was holding up.
"Padfoot! Moony!" exclaimed James Potter as he answered the door. "What are you doing here?"
The couple stood outside in the blizzard, all bundled up. James let them in and watched as they took off their layers.
"Visiting," replied Sirius with a smile. "Moony and I got the day off today and we figured that..."
Remus excused himself quietly and ran to the nearest bathroom. James and Sirius found him throwing up into the toilet. ~*~*~*~*~ It was a week before Sirius finally got fed up and practically dragged his lover in to see one of their old friends, who was a healer at St. Mungos.
Brooke Tracy gave the two a warm smile as she entered the room. She pulled on a pair of gloves and began checking Remus, asking questions about his heath along the way.
"How long has this been going on?" Brooke asked, shining a light from her wand into Remus' eyes. Remus blinked.
"Almost two weeks," replied Remus.
Brooke frowned, extinguished the light, and waved her wand over Remus, muttering a spell. Remus' body shone in white light. A green dot resided over his abdomen and Brooke gave a gasp. She ended the spell and stood in shock for a minute.
"What? What is it?" Sirius asked his old friend.
A smile began to grow on Brooke's mouth. "I shall be the first person to congratulate the both of you. In about eight months from now, you will be parents." ~*~*~*~*~ Four months later, Remus' pregnancy was showing quite a bit and he had to quit his job in order to hide his pregnancy from the Muggle world. It would be strange for them to see a man pregnant.
Sirius became like a mother hen and kept ordering Remus around. With extra hormones Remus acquired from the pregnancy, the arguments got pretty bad.
They had an extremely bad one, one that ended their relationship. Sirius went to live with James and Lily while Remus went to Brooke.
Minutes after the argument, Remus broke down and Brooks comforted the poor man. She wrapped her arms around him as he sobbed.
"I have an idea," whispered Brooke to the distraught man. ~*~*~*~*~ A week later, Brooke and Remus married. It was a fluke to the two friends, but for the others, it was real. Only James and Lily saw through the marriage and questioned Remus.
Brooke produced an illusion spell so that everyone believed that she was carrying a child. Remus still couldn't go outside the house, so he took up a job from the Order that he could do in the safety of his home.
Sirius was upset that his mate had married someone else and it was up to James and Lily to comfort him. ~*~*~*~*~ Remus went into labor months later and gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. She had Sirius' irresitible gray eyes and a tuft of tawny hair. Brooke placed a spell so that the girl had her eyes, which were a light blue.
Remus' daughter was named Hayley Lupin, but her official last name was Lupin-Black. That only appeared on her real birth certificate. ~*~*~*~ A month later, Lily went into labor as well. Unfortunately, she lost the baby, which would have been a healthy baby boy. Harry, as James and Lily named him, was a liveborn (or whatever they name babies that was born alive but died later on... I don't think it is stillborn).
Shortly after, the Ministry went after the Lupins, demanding that they give up Hayley immediately. Afraid for Hayley, Brooke and Remus gave Lily and James Hayley and officially signed the adoption papers. Hayley Lupin became Erica Potter quickly. ~*~*~*~*~ December 1980, Brooke got into a terrible car accident in Muggle London on the way to work and had to be sent to the hospital. She died two days later because of her serious wounds. ~*~*~*~*~ October of 1981, something terrible happened at the Potter's house. Lord Voldemort had attacked and killed James and Lily, but somehow little Erica survived with a curse scar.
She was then sent to live with Lily's sister, who supposedly was her last blood kin. She never knew that she had two fathers, who were grieving over the deaths of their friends: one in a cottage and one in prison. ~*~*~*~*~ end of prologue.
I hope you all liked it. As I am extremely hyper, I will update chapter one in a minute. You are lucky.

I absolutely love this story. It will start shortly after Erica's third year. After I finish this story, I will post prologues to this story.
Chapter One: Quidditch World Cup Part One and the Good News
Erica Lillian Potter was cooking breakfast for her relatives, dressed in her ripped and torn garments. The beatings had gotten worse ever since she discovered she was a witch, but they also lessened because her relatives were afraid that they were being watched. And now, the beatings had ceased the moment Erica came home, claiming that she had a godfather. Her godfather was Sirius Black, the supposed murderer who had killed thirteen Muggles.
"Hurry up," whined Dudley Dursley, banging his Smeltings stick on the tile floor. Erica winced as her headache throbbed harder. She tried the best she could to hurry up the cooking, but cooking took precious time and she didn't want to make breakfast worse.
The only thing Erica was looking forward to today was that the Weasleys, a pureblood family she had made friends with, were picking her up for the Quidditch World Cup. The Cup would be held in Britain this year, which hardly happens. Arthur Weasley happened to get tickets and offered Erica to go with. Erica, of course, accepted.
As she was filling the plates, a loud noise came from the living room. The four froze and listened. A few minutes later, they heard a loud explosion from the living room.
"Excellent!" said Dudley, rubbing his hands together. "I didn't know they were going to have canons sounding today!"
Erica doubted that canons were being blasted, but she got her answer soon. She saw an overabunance of red-haired men merge from the living room.
"Erica!" said Ron with a smile. That smile faded when he saw what his friend was wearing.
"Get packed, Erica," said Arthur Weasley, brushing off some dust he didn't seem to notice before.
Ron, Fred, and George followed the younger girl upstairs. They frowned at how small Erica's bedroom was, but didn't say anything as they helped pack what little Erica had.
"They are going to pay," growled Fred as he and George hauled the trunk downstairs. Erica was carrying her owl's empty cage, as Hedwig had already been sent off to the Weasleys. Ron followed, empty-handed.
"Let's go," ordered Mr. Weasley and they all marched into the living room. He opened a small bag and offered it to the children. Fred and George went first with the trunk, Ron went next, and Erica followed with Mr. Weasley. ~*~*~*~ When they arrived in the Burrow, Erica was greeted with a hug by Mrs. Weasley, who was the only mother figure the girl had. Hermione and Ginny grinned at their friend, who was practically strangled by the overprotective Weasley matriach.
"We need to get you new clothes, dear," replied Mrs. Weasley, fussing over Erica's clothes. "It's a good thing you are at least Ginny's size. If her clothes don't fit for now, then you can borrow..."
"I'm fine, Mrs. Weasley," said Erica with a smile. She wiggled out of the embrace and greeted Hermione and Ginny. ~*~*~*~*~ The next day, the younger children and Mr. Weasley left for the Portkey. Bill, Charlie, and Percy Weasley, the elder Weasley children, would be coming later by Apparition.
"Amos!" called Mr. Weasley, seeing two tall men standing around an old boot. Hermione and Erica exchanged confused looks. They knew what Portkeys were, but they never saw one before.
The taller, bald man greeted Mr. Weasley warmly as Cedric Diggory, a friend of Erica's, hugged Erica happily.
"How was your summer?" Cedric asked.
"The same, without the beatings of course," said Erica.
Cedric smiled. "Then it is a good thing that Mr. Black and Professors Lupin and Snape threatened your relatives they way they did."
Erica looked confused. Cedric smiled. "They sent a letter to your relatives, telling them how they expected to see you being treated. Did you hear the good news about Mr. Black?"
The younger children shook their heads. Cedric pulled out a newspaper and showed them the headline. They grinned as they read that Sirius was declared innocent by the Ministry.
"After he was cleared, he requested custody of you, Erica," replied the Hufflepuff to his Ravenclaw friend. Tears welled up in Erica's eyes. She would no longer have to go live with the Dursleys. ~*~*~*~*~

Snape is like a father to Erica and he doesn't know of her true identity. Remus and Sirius don't know Erica is their daughter. Remus because he put a Memory charm on himself. Also, Erica is charmed to look like James and Lily. In this story, her appearance will return to her natural one.
Chapter Two: The Quidditch World Cup Part Two
The Weasleys, Hermione, and Erica entered their tent at the campsite. Both Hermione and Erica were surprised to see that the tent held five rooms, including a working kitchen.
"Isn't it cool?" Ginny asked her friends with a smile.
"Wow," replied Hermione.
"I like it," said Erica.
"This is the boys' tent and we have to put up ours," said Ginny, holding up the other tent.
The girls exited the tent and proceeded to pitch it up. Once they did, they entered it. It was the same, except it didn't smell as bad as the boys'. ~*~*~*~*~ Later on that night, Mr. Weasley told the girls that it was time for the Cup to start.
"Just so you know, Erica, Sirius, Remus, and Severus will be joining us in the Top Box," replied Mr. Weasley as they started walking to the enormous stadium.
Erica gave a smile. She was definitely happy now.
"Sirius told me that tomorrow he will take you to where he and Remus are living. He already has your stuff." ~*~*~*~*~ Erica, once she entered the Top Box and spotted her "fathers", ran to Sirius, Remus, and Severus, hugging the three men. They hugged her back and the others noticed that love was shining through their eyes.
"I didn't know Snape could love," whispered Ron, who was whacked on the head by his sister and friend.
Erica chose to sit with Sirius and Remus, while the Weasleys sat in front of them and Severus sat in back, waiting for the Malfoys. Erica could tell that Severus was not too happy to sit with the Malfoys. ~*~*~*~*~ "I couldn't believe that even though Krum caught the Snitch that Ireland still won," said Hermione as the girls entered their tent.
"I guess he didn't want the match to last forever and knew that they weren't going to beat the Irish team," said Erica, nursing a cup of cocoa.
"Maybe," said Hermione, returning to her book. ~*~*~*~*~ end of chapter two

I did have an update for this chapter, but it got deleted on accident. I was so mad. But anyway, here is an update. At 2 in the morning.
Chapter Three: Terror at the Cup
Erica, Hermione, and Ginny woke to the sounds of Mr. Weasley shaking them awake. He had hastily thrown a jacket over his pajamas and looked anxious.
"Dad?" Ginny asked sleepily. "What's going..."
"Grab jackets and stick with the others," interrupted Mr. Weasley. His eyes darted around. "Bill, Charlie, Percy, and I are going to find out what's wrong."
It was then that the girls heard the explosions and the screams. They slipped from their beds and threw jackets over their gowns. When they exited the tent, the girls let out soft screams.
Tents were on fire and families were floating in the sky, their screams imbedding fear into those who were trying to escape. Ron, Fred, and George were already waiting for the girls. Erica could briefly see Severus, Remus, and Sirius talking with Mr. Weasley as they ran toward the mass of burning tents, the other Weasleys following.
"Come on," said Fred weakly, tugging on Erica's sleeve.
The six children ran toward the forest, hoping they would be safely hidden by the dense trees. As they entered the forest, Ron tripped over a tree root and fell with an 'oomph'.
"Stupid root," grumbled Ron.
"With feet that big, it's hard not to believe why you tripped, Weasley," drawled a familiar voice. The six looked up to see Draco Malfoy leaning against a tree, with a smirk on his face. He stared out at the commotion. "Those Muggles sure scream, don't they?"
The girls had looks of horror on their faces while the boys looked disgusted.
Malfoy turned his attention to Hermione. "I also heard that they are looking for Muggle-borns."
Ron hurriedly scrambled to his feet, wanting to tackle Malfoy.
"He's not worth it," said Hermione, grabbing Ron's jacket. She sent a glare at Malfoy and started walking deeper into the forest.
"Keep your bushy head down, Granger," called Malfoy. "Unless you want to show off your knickers. It would give us all a laugh." ~*~*~*~ Hermione let go of Ron when they were far from Malfoy. Ron thrust his fist into a tree, wincing as pain rushed into his knuckles.
"You should've let me at him!" roared Ron, turning his heated glare to Hermione. She turned her gaze to the ground.
"She was right to do what she did," said Erica. "Your dad wouldn't've wanted you to get into a fight on a night like this. Those men could've found us and taken us hostage." She went over to Hermione and hugged the girl.
"She's right," said George to his younger brother.
"Moremordre!" shouted a husky, masculine voice from a couple bushes ahead. A jet of light hit the sky and took shape. The children stared at the mark in the sky. It was of a skull with a snake slithering from its mouth like a slimy tongue.
Before they knew it, they were surrounded by men.
"Stupify!" they shouted. The six ducked as red lights flew over their heads.
"STOP! THOSE ARE MY SONS!" shouted a familiar voice.
The children looked up as Mr. Weasley, Severus, Sirius, and Remus flew in.
"Ron, Fred, George are you alright?" Mr. Weasley asked as the other men gathered around the girls. Erica clutched to Severus' chest as the man comforted her.
"Which of you did it?" a man asked. ~*~*~*~ end of chapter three
I will do another one soon. Stupid board.

Chapter Four: Interrogations
"Now, now, Barty," said Mr. Weasley to the man. "They're just children! They wouldn't know how to conjure the Dark Mark."
"It was a man," said Hermione from where Remus was comforting her. She shakily pointed in the direction the man spoke from. "He summoned the Dark Mark."
As the others went to search for the man, the children went quiet. The girls clung onto Severus, Sirius, and Remus while the boys were silent, staring off into other directions, trying to calm their frantic minds.
"Found him!" shouted a man. "But... blimey..."
"What?" roared Mr. Crouch.
The man, Mr. Diggory, pulled out an unconscious house-elf. Mr. Crouch went pale.
"Come on," said Severus gently, picking up Erica. "We don't need to be here." He signaled to the other men and started walking back to the campsite, which was no longer in flames. ~*~*~*~ "Oh thank goodness!" cried Mrs. Weasley as the four men appeared in her kitchen with the six children. Bill, Charlie, and Percy were already home, nursing injuries.
"Did we get them?" Charlie asked, nursing a bloody bandage on his right hand.
Mr. Weasley shook his head. He ordered his younger sons upstairs while Severus, Sirius, and Remus held the girls in their arms.
"The poor dears," said Mrs. Weasley, staring at the sleeping girls. "The ordeal must've terrified them. You can put them in the living room if you like." ~*~*~*~*~ Erica woke up as warmth spread throughout her body. She stared up at the smiling face of Mrs. Weasley.
"Hello, dear," she said warmly. "I have taken the liberty of bringing you lunch." She gestured to the tray on the bedside table. She gave Erica a hug before leaving.
Erica saw that the other girls were awake and were eating.
"Morning," said Ginny and Hermione.
"Morning," replied Erica, reaching over and grabbed her sandwich.
They ate in silence, the memories of last night still whirrling in their minds. ~*~*~*~ end of chapter four
there... done for now.

I can tell that you are hyper. Chapter Five: Startling RealizationsErica groaned and rolled over in her sleep. She was having the strangest of dreams. ~*~*~*~ Erica's dream~*~*~*~*~*~ Erica let out a giggle as she was tossed high into the air and caught by her thrower. The man nuzzled his nose into her neck and inhaled. "Stop that, Remmy," said a deep male voice. Remus turned to James, who was leaning against the door. "Why?" Remus asked with a grin and buried his nose back into Erica's neck. "She is my daughter, isn't she?" "True," said James with a sigh. He was happy that Remus loved his daughter dearly, but he was concerned about how they were going to keep this a secret from Sirius. "Dada," said Erica happily. Remus smiled widely, his eyes shining in utter adoration and love. "Yes, Dada's here," replied her father, nuzzling her. ~*~*~*~*~ Erica jerked away, sweat pouring down from her hair. She went to the bathroom and splashed some cold water on her face. When she went to stare at the mirror, she gasped in shock. Instead of her bright hazel eyes, Erica saw beautiful gray eyes that reminded her of her godfather. Her jet-black hair turned into tawny and curled at the ends. She looked more like a blend of Sirius and Remus than Lily and James. I must be halloucinating, thought Erica, wiped her face, and went to bed. ~*~*~*~ When Remus came to vist the Weasleys, he came across a familiar scent. He couldn't quite remember who it reminded him of, but it was still familiar. He sniffed and followed the scent all the way upstairs and into a bed room. What greeted him gave him such a shock that it destroyed the memory charm he placed on himself years ago. Lying on the bed that Erica laid on was a beautiful girl with tawny hair and looked a perfect blend of him and Sirius. The scar still blazed on her forehead. Remus felt sick. He remembered. He didn't want to. But yet... He never heard the door open and never heard his mate curse. ~*~*~*~ Erica woke up and stared up at her godfather and her werewolf 'uncle'. They were staring at her in shock. Then she remembered her reflection in the mirror. "What's happening to me?" she whispered, staring at herself again in a small mirror. Gray eyes stared back at her. "A glamor potion just failed," said Remus shakily. "That person in the mirror is your true self." Erica looked back at the two men. "Your daughter?" she asked quietly, but she may have just shouted it and had the same effect. Sirius cursed again and glared at Remus, who bowed his head. "I thought you said our daughter was dead," Sirius growled. "Damn it Remus!" "Brooke helped me decide on giving her up to Lily and James. I couldn't keep her anyway, Sirius." Remus' voice was filled with so much emotion that Erica couldn't help but look away. "I still could've taken her in, Remy! She is my daughter too, if you hadn't noticed!" ~*~*~*~ end of chapter five and the truth comes out... how fun

Chapter Six: A Family Again?
"If you didn't walk out on me after that argument..." said Remus hotly.
Erica's already heightened senses started to irritate her as her fathers argued amongst each other. She couldn't take it much longer. The anger flowing off the men was too much. She slid out from the bed and ran out of the room. Sirius and Remus didn't notice.
She was halfway down the stairs when she realized that no one would recognize her. Closing her eyes, Erica thought of her earlier appearance and felt the changes come. It felt more like a tickle than anything, but it still let her know that she was now Erica Potter than... whoever she was beforehand.
"Good morning Erica," said Mrs. Weasley warmly. She handed the girl a full plate. The woman frowned upstairs. "They still arguing?" She met Erica's startled gaze. "I knew long beforehand that you were their child, dear. I was a healer back in the old days and I helped Remus after he had you. You were such a beautiful baby."
"Do you know what my name was back then?"
"Yes I do. You were officially named Hayley Irene Lupin-Black." Mrs. Weasley glared at the two men who stumbled down the stairs, looking panicked. They relaxed when they saw Erica at the table. "Stay here, dear." The older woman then pushed the two men into a room and closed the door. Erica felt a Silencing Spell being placed on the door. ~*~*~*~*~ Molly glared at Sirius and Remus, who cringed under her gaze.
"What was that about?" She knew, but she wanted to hear it from them.
"He didn't tell me that my child was still living and breathing," said Sirius angrily. "My own mate!"
"There must've been a good reason," said Molly. "Even when he was upset with you, Remus still loved you more than anything. And you really must stop arguing like this!" Molly's voice started rising. "You now have a child who has been abused most of her life. She may not be fragile, but she has seen so much in her life already. She risked her life to stop You-Know-Who from coming back to life with the Philospher's Stone and saved my youngest and only daughter from dying. Hell, she even battled a basilisk! Now she has discovered she has parents. She couldn't be more happier, but I doubt she wants to live with two men who constantly bicker!"
Both Sirius and Remus felt properly admonished as Molly continued yelling at them. They hadn't really had time to think about what Erica would be going through. ~*~*~*~*~ Erica had just finished with her pancakes when the door opened and revealed her fathers and her surrogate mother. She swirled her fork through the left-over syrup, not knowing what to say.
She felt a hand clap on her shoulder and she let out a cry of pain as it landed on a particular wound. The hand withdrew quickly, as if it was burned.
"What's wrong?" asked Sirius frantically. He pushed the fabric down and stared in horror at the wound. It was a long, jagged gash that went from Erica's neck, her whole shoulder, and disappeared down her arm.
"Who did this?" growled Remus, feeling angered to whomever did this to his child, his cub.
Erica turned her head away, tears filling in her eyes. She didn't want to remember that day before the Weasleys had picked her up. As she grew more upset, she started to forget where she was. Erica felt someone touch her shoulder and she cringed away, throwing her arms in her face, inching away. She yelped when she fell to the floor.
"Please, don't hurt me! I-I'll do anything you say! I didn't do anything to Dudley, I swear! Please, Uncle, don't throw me in there!" ~*~*~*~ Sirius, Molly, and Remus stared in horror as Erica scooted away, pleading. It suddenly dawned on them that this child was abused terribly at the Dursleys. Molly knew that Erica was starved and neglected, but she didn't think that she was abused physically and maybe mentally.
"Dudley did it, I swear! He was chasing me, he and his gang. I just wanted to get away!" Tears were falling down her face. "I didn't mean to appear on the roof of the school!" Erica curled into a ball, as if trying to deflect an attack. "Please, no. No, uncle! NO!" She screamed, startling the three again.
Sirius rushed to Erica and grabbed her into a hug. "Shh," he said softly in her ear, rubbing her back. "It's okay, kiddo. Your uncle is not here." He glanced to his mate for a second before returning to comforting his daughter. "It's me, Hayley. It's Papa," he whispered.
That instantly quieted Erica. Sirius was surprised.
"Papa?" Erica asked quietly. Sirius tightened his embrace.
"Yes, pup?" Erica just snuggled closer. Sirius buried his face in her hair and rocked her slowly.
Remus lowered himself to the floor next to his mate and child. He shared a quick look with Sirius before joining the embrace, hugging both of them. ~*~*~*~ all together now: Awww....
That was a hard chapter to write, but I enjoy the outcome.

Chapter Seven: Comforts from Family
Erica woke up the next day. She was surrounded by warmth and then she remembered the events of yesterday. She snuggled into the warmth and sighed happily. She knew she was loved by her fathers. ~*~*~*~*~* Sirius stirred and opened his eyes. He glanced in between himself and his mate and smiled at the sight of their daughter, who was sleeping with a peaceful smile on her face.
"Siri?" Sirius looked up and stared into the golden eyes of his mate. "Yes Rem?"
Remus pulled a hand through his graying hair. "Siri, I am sorry for yelling at you. I am even more sorry that I kept our daughter's identity from..."
Sirius quieted Remus' apologies with a soft kiss on his lips. Remus gave a quiet moan and ran his tongue on his mate's lips before pulling back. Sirius gave a questioning glance and Remus looked down at their child, who was stirring.
Erica's eyes opened and she smiled at her fathers, who smiled back. She snuggled into them and they wrapped their arms around her. ~*~*~*~*~ end of chapter seven
